This is the behind-the-scenes story of the development of the Rope Wrench, from the godfather of SRT himself, Mr. Kevin Bingham. From the initial idea that led to the F8 Revolver, to online collaboration that produced the ZK-1, to licensing the Wrench to ISC and refining the tool to produce the shiny ZK-2, this is the inside scoop that few have heard.
We also dive deep into the backstory of how Kevin got into climbing, where innovation comes from, Kevin’s ideas for bike-based tree care services, some current projects, as well as where he sees the industry heading into the future. I know you will enjoy listening to Kevin’s stories!

I would like to add that SRT was being heavily used in Industrial Rope Access situations. Oilplatform access etc. The techniques moved over into the tree in 2007 ish.

This is a really neat idea to help round out the educated climber. I plan to go back and look for the first 3 epsodes.
Thanks for all your help and work at putting together your website and continuing to add to it.

That podcast sort of went on and on…. and the longer Kevin rambled and reminisced, the better it got! Wanting to be a monkey…. Summer with the circus… towing a chipper around with a bike… made my commute ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR!
